I'm not expecting any further arena news until the end of 2024. Let's keep the faith.

OK... we are not allowed to take shots in the arena until game time unless we make the finals... we have NEVER won a game in that arena.. the other teams like south dakota state have played 12 and even 15 games in that place for their seniors and have a little comfort... My suggestion is... every time we go to South Dakota or SDSU, we practice in that gym... would even prefer we make a tourney with Wyoming, Minnesota, Iowa State, sell it to TV and play 3 game round robin... big games, good competition...we would get a couple practices, 3 shootarounds.... spend the time up there courting a couple grade schools, junior high, and the air force base to be your fans...Dont care if we get our ass kicked... we got crushed in Bahamas anyway.... I did not go to the beach since the trip was all hoops for me anywhere. build the following... There were more DENVER fans there than us... I hated that. We need to change our approach.

A I hope our staff is talking to some of those under recruited juniors. I see that we have have an offer out to Sophomore Ethan Taylor (6'10") of KS 6A champ SM Northwest. Also offered at this point by Missouri State. As you probably know, MO State fired its coach. Will this be Ben McCollum's opportunity to lead a D-I program?

Denver will play the Jacks in the championship game.
There doesn't seem to be a dime's worth of difference between the 2-8 teams in the Summit, but the Pios came to play this week. No complaints from them about the venue.

I am not complaining about the venue... just pointing out the advantages of playing more games there.. they tossed in a 3 at the end so it is a great thing... well no..ORU had great teams and was able to chisel away at this... but next year may be back to nobody has played there... SDSU once again, gets lots of experience there.... If Denver has a young team.. then they will be a load next year with all the mental comfort and experience they are getting... We need to do something to get over the hump... simple... play games in that gym... if not that, practice in that gym.

Practice in the gym seems more realistic. Non-Summit League games in Sioux Falls have been the likes of Oregon-Syracuse: big names/big draws. I don't think we get a piece of that gig.

Playing Augie is a great idea. The rest of the league would hate us for it. 😂

It was a disappointing end to the season for sure but I think we're in good hands. The future is bright.

SDSU's reward for winning the Summit is a first round game against Iowa State.
