What are early thoughts on these games? Obviously very tough competition. Looked like we have periods where we competed well, but majority of the time we seemed to underperform. I assume it’s a confidence issue? It’s difficult for me to understand how our great shooters miss so many open shots and open 3’s..
We will continue to get better. The Puerto Rico tournament may help get our confidence and cohesion where it needs to be.

It was good to see Ring, Gob, Grady, and Ijeh compete against top 15 teams. They see what it takes to beat top teams. The defense and the rebounding will have to continue to improve. The shooting will improve playing teams in top 200 vs top 20. The Roos should go 3-0 in Puetro Rico against mid major opponents. American and Albany both look like lower Summit League opponents.

All our point guards had their first D1 experience this week and all 3 overwhelmed... Baba was not but the other guys were deer in headlights... new environment and have to be used to playing against guys that are as good and in this case, better than you...We got GREAT SHOTS against good defenses.. assuming those guys can still shoot... just hurried too much.
