Went down to interview Jordan Giles today...
Team practice... I watched a scrimmage
Gigantic man not practicing... freshman from UTRGV... 4 years left... looks fully grown, David Oyona Ibandzo.Did not see him play.. don't care he will have trouble making the floor.
PGs are much better and I mean... much better. Quick and good ball handling.. along with GOB GOB having long limbs... look out. Much stronger looking than their high school tapes.
Big guys... Ijeh as number 1 and he is bigger than thought... runs fast... blocks dunks and dunks himself. Then Melvyn as the backup... Blake ammons to the red shirt pile... and mr. Gigantic as third guy.
Jamar so solid along with JP, Cameron on sidelines today.
BaBa and AK not there today...

Kasheem Grady... fast and good defender and I think shot over 40 from 3... and then
Ring Nyeri... wow.. so he is now 6-10 and skilled, flashing all over the court getting rebounds driving the lane and tossing in an 8 foot floater WITH HIS LEFT.... Freshman
Get your effin tickets and your seat license or whatever... upgraded everyone that left... yes including Allan.
We could do a full court press with the 2 PG, Ijeh in back, Ring on the ball, and either JP, Kasheem, or BABA

Would love to have” instant Yulian”, but I think we not have enough basketballs as it is with all the talent we are amassing.

Last years increase in talent and depth was substantial, the big jump at PG could very well put us at the top of the Summit.

Can you imagine AK as a 10-15 minute rotation guy? Baba as a defensive specialist only? These guys were playing 25-30 last year when healthy. Talk about a potential surplus of riches.

I kinda wish I had NOT seen the team... it got me so excited about the upgrade in talent and it is SO far away timewise from even the first practice.. blown knees, ankles, broken bones can all interfere with this... gotta calm down and wait another couple months... but we need to get our act together and get some NIL money to keep these guys here.

He seemed like a warm big body. I have little expectation. he has not played in 3 years...Keith Garnett is a great trainer... the challenge is to keep him on the floor and off the bike on the side.... haha
