It appears this guy has been highly recruited and Covid took him down or some injury... He did not play at all for UTRGV... so don't have high hopes about him finishing a season... but we deserve to get lucky.

First “Boom!” Of the current recruiting season. Anybody have any idea who? Could be D’Andre Harrison, who was on-campus today. High school forward out of the state of Arizona.

Coach E goes back to Phoenix to get a talented forward! It is exciting to see the Roos beat other D1 teams for players. I remember when the Roos had to fight Juco schools and D2 programs for players.

Would not be surprised if we saw another “Boom!!!” or two in the near future for a few JUCO prospects from Jones College (MS).

A 2nd “Boom” on 9/29/24! Is it the Pernell twins? I was originally thinking it was another recruit not from Jones College who visited KC last Saturday. However, if there’s two, that would be my guess.

Is it the Pernell’s? Looks like that would be quite a big win for us! Some of their awards last year are below:
Dimp Pernell, 6’3” guard, was named the MACCC Player of the Year, First Team All-MACCC honors, and NJCAA Division I 2nd Team All-American. He averaged 18.8 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game.
Ky Pernell, 6’3” guard, named to the First Team All-MACCC and the NJCAA All-Region 23 Team. He averaged 17.2 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game and was named the Region 23 Tournament MVP.
