ORU has lost six in a row. They've started fast, then faded in several games. Lost the last two by a single point.
This is their Senior Day. No time for the Roos to snooze.
We are 15-15. This game will determine whether the Roos have a winning or losing record.

A win tomorrow puts the Roos as a second seed for Summit League tournament. A loss puts the Roos as a forth seed and have to play NDSU the first game. Then play SDSU in the next game with a win. Beat ORU!

Roos up by 8 at halftime. Need to cut down on the turnovers, but overall I’ll take it… time to secure the second seed.

This is not the Oral Roberts I remember in any sense. Sloppy basketball. Zero energy from what used to be the conference's best crowd. And the inability of the chyron operator to keep track of the correct score has been something to behold.

Totally agree, Waywardsaint. We aren’t playing great, but are dismantling their team and crowd. It is just wonderful to see!! Surprising how much I enjoy seeing their “legacy” players like Kareem Thompson, Phipps, Weaver, and McBride on the losing side. Feels like we are avenging losses from previous years.

It's their senior night. They have a week's rest and they're playing a team that played three nights ago and spent 12 hours on a bus in between. And they're completely listless and apathetic out there. They're just broken mentally.
I've been particularly critical of our court intelligence at times this year, particularly against the Tommies and in the overtime games. But we're PLENTY mentally tough. We've gotten up off the canvas multiple times when trailing on the road and we've faced down some brutal circumstances in terms of travel and officiating. There's a good deal to be proud of with this team, but I think I'm proudest of the fact that ORU's attitude tonight just isn't in us.

Good to see Faas make some shots after 2 poor shooting games. He is to good of shooter to miss that many outside shots. He will be important in tournament along with Brown from the 3 point line. Great to see all the conference road wins especially on other teams Senior Night!
