Just my opinion, of course.
Next fall, the Summit will only have five men's soccer members, which means they'll be one short of the requirement for a NCAA automatic playoff bid. Augustana currently has a women's team, but not a men's team.
The Vikings have already introduced themselves to D-I, with a hockey team that is a combined 3-0 this season against #5 Denver and St. Thomas (hockey is not a Summit sport, however.).
Men's basketball will enter its conference tournament this week at 18-10.
Seems like Augie could offer the Summit some value by adding men's soccer. It might be affordable if they drop football scholarships and join the Tommies in the Pioneer Football League...a likely move if the school goes D-I across the board.
