Roos have a comfortable lead heading into halftime courtesy of great shooting from behind the arc.
THIS is what I’ve been waiting to see after the past several weeks of up-and-down play; beat a team wire-to-wire that you’re supposed to beat. It’s definitely the type of performance we need to have heading into March… let’s keep the foot on the gas in the second half!

They win despite fouling every time the Yotes had the ball in the second half. The players have to be smarter on defense. Fouled to guys shooting 3 pointers and multiple and 1 lay ups. You can not give up points to teams with no time coming off the clock when you have a 10+ point lead in the second half! Too many upperclassman to make these mistakes. Brown was awesome again and Courseault had 21 points and 9 assist. Clean it up guys before the Summit League Tournament!

Coach Menzies summed it up in his post game video. "We won on the road. There are lessons to learn, but we won on the road."
Let's be honest. Winning on the road has not been a given for a long time here at Kansas City.
Let's regroup, win at home on Saturday against Omaha and maybe win 1 of 2 on the road next week.

The Roos now have 13 wins, 7 conference wins this season with 3 games left before the conference tournament. Last year the Roos had 11 total wins and 7 conference wins. There is improvement in wins and the quality of players.

Also, take into account that there were 18 conference games last year and only 16 conference games this year, with Western Illinois joining the OVC this season

the guys were not happy the way the game ended... not just the coaches.. but the players were furious walking into the locker room.
