Looking at KenPom for some stats for the Summit League... Offensively, with the exception of Offensive rebounds we are in middle to bottom... Defensively, oddly, with the exception of 2pt% (unlimited layups to st. thomas) we are in the middle to the top in almost every category, we have a new freshman coming on who helps the offense and defense.. This could travel well to the tournament...

Using the entire shot clock will keep opponents' scores low. However, that's a poor substitute for an offensive scheme.

I’ll add this here instead of starting a new thread: Anderson Kopp has expressed interest in returning for the 2024-25 season, and the feeling from Menzies and co. is mutual. They’re looking into whether he can receive a medical redshirt for this season. He’s a valuable contributor when healthy.

Terrific young man is AK. Hope he stays but limits his minutes keeping available for when we need smart decisions on the court...older guy stuff

Always good to have quality players in the rotation. Don't think it is a necessity to have him on the team, but won't squawk if it doesn't affect the scholarships handed out.
On a side note, I think AK's injury helped the team in the maturation process. If he had been healthy we would have spent much of the season looking to him in crunch time. Without him, the team had to figure it out earlier.

I don’t know the issues surrounding his injuries, but having AK back would be a big plus to the team. Maybe 20 minutes a game during the regular season to try and keep him healthy. He still has a Covid year (not counting against scholarship availability)…if he hasn’t used it yet.

ha... I told him to be player coach... play once a week in November December... then in conference... last 5 minutes of 1st half and last 8 minutes if a close game... help his recovery...etc.
