Roos going for a 2-0 start in Summit League action, up 33-32 at the half. Tommies went on a bit of a run to close the 1H but we’re hanging on at the moment. Diallo in particular has been a bright spot so far. Let’s close this out and get two HUGE statement wins to begin conference play.

Glimpses of the team that played Oral Roberts in the first half, and the team that played in most of non-con in the 2nd half.
Not sure if I understand the new defense where we let the other team drive to the bucket with no help defense…over and over.

On the bright side, Petty had another assist.

I think the new kid Yulian is gonna be best on team by season end. St. Thomas made an adjustment at half... first half switch everything and don't help anyone since they all are good shooters... very effective... 2nd half... Tommies went 5 out and took turns driving the ball... since no help... layup line... so hard to watch... Faas just gets worn out every game... so if he is not bombing... he should not play... we saw how jeff dominated at game end simply because they are not athletic... I would propose a defense I had called 54... which means you switch all screens except for the 5 man... and the 5 man guards the worst 3 point shooter.. and protects the rim... a skilled team like St. Thomas is a pick your poison... 3s or layups.... but back in the 80s is another pick your poison... can #4 really score 35 from the 3 line and we keep the rest of the team to 20-30..... just make sure it is the guy shooting in low 30s

Yulian plays with a lot of skill and confidence!! We are fortunate to have him.
Any updates on Anderson Kopp? True2theroos mentioned that he is out for the year. I haven’t heard an update from coach on that. Are we 100% sure he is out?
Assuming Kopp is out and Jeff can play like last year or better.. I’d like to see this lineup:
Coursalt Brown Yulian Mukeba Ngandu
Primary backups: Andrews, Faas, Baba, Ebonkoli

1. Artese.. Courasalt 2.Brown BABA 3. Yulian FAAS 4. Tyler FAAS MEN Mukeba, Ebonkoli, Ngandu
Kopp gone for the season... surgery...hand. They are tied with HIPPa unless the kid gives it all out on social media.. YULIAN is a trade up from Anderson in overall talent and even court presence if he develops fast. YULIAN could be the big change of luck we needed.
