Gob Gob 6’3 guard from Hill College Juco and Blake Ammons 6’10 post that cam move. Commitment from Ring Nyeri 6’8 forward from Peoria Liberty High School in Az. 3 star recruit with several D1 offers. The last 3 star Roo that I know was Brandon McKissic. This staff recruits well and works hard. This team will continue to improve and need a new arena! Coach E said fantastic four, so one more commitment or signing should happen in the next 48 hours.

The fourth player is Davontae Hill 6 foot guard from Indian Hills Juco, but a Chicago area player in high school. Chicago guards have been very good to the Roos. Coach Sash at Indian Hills was an assistant coach with the Roos and an assistant coach the last several years at NDSU. Hill will play a tough Juco schedule and play against D1 players every day at practice. With 3 guards set to graduate after this season it is a good idea to recruit experienced guards to challenge Petty and Malik next season.

4 commitments for next year, and all guys that our staff were pursuing aggressively. I can’t remember the last time we had more than 1 guy commit this early for the next season. Certainly speaks volumes about the direction of the program, and maybe also about the state of college basketball? Players may be choosing to commit early and avoid competition with the transfer portal.
