As part of the Request for Proposal for the new arena plan, UMKC laid out the entire athletics schedule for the 2023-24 school year for events at Swinney Center. That link can be found here: www.umsystem.edu/ums/fa/procurement/bids/rfp-23102 A few interesting tidbits for the men’s basketball schedule: - Away non-con games against Baylor (11/15) and Kansas (12/5), as well as Lindenwood (12/2) and Bowling Green (12/16); Big Sky away game will be 1/3 - Home non-con game versus Missouri State (11/18); Big Sky home game will be 1/6 On a side note, the WBB team will be hosting KU at Municipal Auditorium on 11/18 as well. Nonetheless, very excited to have the Bears come to Kansas City! Should definitely be a sell-out.

Good to see the Roos playing some in state schools. I am excited for MSU game with the Roos bringing back most of the same team. The freshman should be much better as they get stronger and more mature. Hopefully the Roos will not schedule NAIA teams., other than exhibition games.

Yeah, I’m unsure whether those Avila/St. Mary’s games are exhibition or not. I was hoping we were done with non-D1 opponents, but that might not be the case.

I think we are going to have to prove that playing us won’t wreck their nonconference strength of schedule ratings. Once we have established ourselves, other Division I programs will be willing to come here and play.
