No Simes and no Rashad King. Still working another PG and another Big person... way too many in my book... but enough guys for a JaVee team.

Simes juco numbers were great, would have loved to see him in KC.
Wasn’t King a Donlon recruit? Did the new staff have much of a connection with him? I’m just wondering if this was a big surprise for the staff.
Let’s say we don’t get a PG. Does anyone know what the coaching staff thinks of Martin? Can he do the job?

Appears that our true point guards are Martin and Dimou. Perhaps Allen or Barnes could make the switch to PG?
Looking in from the outside, I’d prefer to see a veteran PG step in. However, I am sure that I am spoiled after Gilyard’s epic season last year.

Think we have an experienced guard from Horizon league coming... my source should add a name or team for me tomorrow.

Think we have an experienced guard from Horizon league coming... my source should add a name or team for me tomorrow. RayQuawndis Mitchell PG grad transfer from UIC. Is the only one I found just searching Verbal Commits. Interestingly, 24/7 sports shows an offer from GCU in 2020. That’s a possible Menzies connection.

Mitchell is a 6’5” point guard? I don’t recall us having a PG of that size for a while. This would certainly continue the theme of more size and length for the upcoming season!

Looks like Mitchell would be a solid pick-up but from this film he doesn't look like a true pg. youtu.be/b-N4OtI46Cg

I agree with eastern Jack. Mitchell looks like a scorer and can shoot the 3 ball! I look for Shemarri to run the point most of the season with Martin backing him up. Shemarri is a good passer and ball handler. They used him in that role with Gilyard being more of a 2 guard shooting outside and going one on one in a isolation set. You can never have too many guards and ball handlers in college basketball.

Verbal Commits has R.J. Moore listed as an open offer, but it looks like he signed with Navarro College.

I hear they are sacrificing goats and holding rain dances to improve Shemarri's shooting.
