This 16 team tournament begins on 03/19/22 and is hosted in Daytona Beach.
The first two rounds are streamed on FloHoops and the Semi-Finals and Finals will be broadcast on ESPN2.
There is no official announcement, but two writers who seem to follow this fairly closely, both suggest that Kansas City will be asked to attend.
The CBI will make an official announcement on Monday 03/14/22.

When the Roos posted a tweet with Nesbitt stats, the last line stated,” and he is not done yet…..” I hope the team another opportunity to play with everyone healthy. It help the growth of the younger players Barnes and Chapman. It also gives transfer players a chance to watch the Roos since their season is probably done. Fingers crossed!

The Roos were not chosen for the CBI.
I haven't seen anything yet on The Basketball Classic (32 teams).

Yes, The Basketball Classic is supposed to have 32 teams, but as far as I can tell, they have only 14 committed to play. Several schools have turned them down (may be a "pay-to-play" situation). Since TBC starts tonight, I would guess that the postseason will go on without the Roos.
