what is the deal with all of these games against local bible colleges. UMKC is counting them as wins on the website. Please tell me these are exhibitions and don't really count on the schedule. I am certain none of these teams are any level of NCAA and may not even be NAIA affiliates.

I don't mind it. If we had a full healthy squad to play, the fellas that don't see much time would get plenty of game experience. Since we have so many injuries, the "regulars" have to play at least 20 minutes.

The latest game was the Roos' fourth game this season against members of the NCCAA. Better than the NCAA, cause they have an extra letter.

I can’t say that I am excited about watching those opponents, but I understand that it gives our backups some playing time, fills our schedule, and builds team confidence.
That being said, I’d rather that the games were against schools like Avila, Benedictine, Central Methodist, Rockhurst, etc… . I just don’t know very much about some of the schools that we have been playing, and I don’t think they have a local identity.

since people complain about william effing jewell... this is where we go... but the coach plays the backups and gets some gametime for them... it is also a pay game for these schools... and maybe they could use the money more than the others or maybe we can't pay enough for william effing jewell
