A few fun facts after the Roos’ dominating road victory over ORU to conclude the regular season:
• This is the first time since the 2004-05 season that we’ve won six or more consecutive conference games • By entering the Summit League Tournament as the 2nd, this will be our highest seeding in a conference tournament since the 2015 WAC Tournament in Vegas; UMKC was the 2nd seed that year because Grand Canyon was ineligible for the postseason as part of their transition to D1
Now, I’m a little disappointed that we were *this close* (two OT games) from securing a regular season championship. But, I guess all there is for us to do now is win the whole thing!

I haven't seen our tournament game announced yet, but it appears to be Saturday night v. Denver.

I haven't seen our tournament game announced yet, but it appears to be Saturday night v. Denver. You are right. The bracket can be found here: x.com/thesummitleague/status/1764417465998516607?s=46&t=ZLXdzKymFWcgWHo_w98P2wHonestly, I’m not happy that the bracket stretches from Friday to Tuesday. Why not Thursday to Sunday? I might’ve driven up to Sioux Falls for the championship game (if we made it) if it was on the weekend; now, I’ll likely only go for the quarterfinal game.

Denver, North Dakota, and Omaha are good draws for us, and sdsu, NDSU, or st. Thomas in the finals. One game at a time.

We have been a 2 seed before... the last was the WAC where we wen 8-6 Utah Valley, Chicago State, and UTRGV were all rated 320 or worse.... we won a game in the tourney and then lost to Seattle... the other time was the nightmare of 04-05 when we had a top 100 (approx) for a couple years... in 04 we are up on Valpo by 18 and lose in the semis... in 05, we have the "11 straight" team and lose to #7 Oakland and Rawle Marshall... heartbreak... it was crushing... so we are a LONG WAYS from anything... Sunday, I was in locker room post game and there was no celebration... good.. still on the journey.
