the game this Monday had the highest opening night attendance in a couple of decades... 1300... more than twice the amount normal... only one that has beaten it was when we opened with Drake a few years ago... only 1900 in Muni.... If we want a new arena or a better place to play, we need to sell this thing out every game....

For those who have been following much longer than I have, when was the last time there was this much energy around the program? Between the new arena, a solid recruiting class, and a great start to the season, things are looking up. I like the direction we’re headed under Dr. Martin and Menzies.

I like the direction we’re headed under Dr. Martin and Menzies. ‘04-‘05 Quentin Day Mike English Carlton Aaron Tim Blackwell Coach Z The Roos won 11 straight won 15 of 17 going into mid February. A few games had around 7,000 in attendance at the Muni.

That’s a great memory, Golds! I bought a GA ticket, and had to sit near the top of MUNI behind the goals when we were playing ORU during our streak for the Conference lead. It was electric!
Jason Whitlock had a big role in the excitement when he was in KC. He got the city fired up about the Roos through the KC Star and local sports radio, and started the popular nickname “ The Big Marsupial” for Carlton Aaron.

Gold nailed it! The team played well and had good local guys. Q Day was instant offense and quick as lightning. Let’s get back to those good times and crowd!
