OK.... here is our prediction poll that shuts down Sept. 15.... I forgot to mention NCAA atlarge bid... haha... never know. You are allowed to pick 2 for obvious reasons when you see the poll....your two votes have to make sense.. if you win the summit tourney but don't think they win a game in NCAA, then winning Summit tourney is only vote... but I voted that we did NOT win the summit tourney but won 2 games... then we won the alternate tourney... like the CBI

This is a difficult poll. Apparently a lot of talent on our roster, but so young and so many unknowns. I have a hard time thinking that we can perform better than last year’s team. I’d guess losing in the first round of the Summit tournament and no post-season, and would love to be proven wrong.

I voted one Summit win and make alternate tournament.
That would be what I hope for at a minimum. I think that even if we need polishing we're going to be a handful for the Summit. I'm trying to temper my excitement but I think Coach Menzies can make us a long term successful team.

We have seen Freshmen with talent dominate at the NCAA level... It is coaches that always say "we are young and inexperienced" while the players are not good enough to win... they have to refine their talent... same for any group... but there is no finite starting line as to where a Freshman is... the finish line is a hard line... a championship whether in conference or the nation... Guys that start further ahead can get there easier.... they still must develop and that is the coach's job... but a short race is more likely finished.
