I have been begging for smaller and faster... now will embrace the other way. New starting lineup Dimou Precious Promise Ngandu Sidy We would lose with all freshmen but would get national attention. Not exactly a fence around KC... but a lot more interesting. Revise the dream

My starting line-up would be a bit different:
Martin (based on playing experience)/Dimou Kopp/Babacar A. Mukeba/Precious Ngandu/Promise Bar/Sidy
We are going to be tall. I have been watching the Roos for a long time and I don't remember us having this type of length and athletes (at least from the videos I have been seeing on our new guys). I am truly excited with the new coaches and the winning pedigree that they have had through their careers. Menzies was the real deal at NMSU, and I would always cringe when we played them because they were year in and year out the best in the WAC.
Go Roos!!!!

The all-Freshman lineup would be a lot of fun, but they have to be the best players on the team or it causes problems in the locker room. However, I am going to guess this coaching staff won’t have a problem with playing a deserving Freshman.
My starting lineup:
Dimou Barnes Mitchell Mukeba Ngandu
The biggest wild card for me is the point guard position: Dimou/Martin/Allen.

Kopp won't play much... but a nice senior night and the winningest 3 year player ever... Martin can surprise and I think can raise his level with more athletic players... as a creator. Bar I believe will redshirt or better yet... get stashed in a Juco to play and gather skill.Hopefully our guys retain their defensive teachings and pass them on to the new guys. We should have a freshman team... like old Iowa university when more people came to see Connie Hawkins on the Freshman team that showed for the Varsity

I am going to have to change my projected lineup. It appears that Rayquandis Mitchell is confirmed as a point guard!
PG - Mitchell. 6’5” G - Barnes, Kopp, or Allen G - Barnes, Kopp, or Allen F - Mukeba F - Ngandu
IMO, anything different than above is likely a pleasant surprise from a talented and ready to play Freshman, and/or indicates greater depth.
“Happiest of Birthday wishes to our incoming veteran point guard, @rayquawndis #ROOUP | #DeclareKC”

Mitchell pg- experienced D1 player Barnes- great athlete and scorer Kopp- best outside shooter on team, around 40% from 3 point line for his career Mukeba- high regarded player with multiple D1 offers Ngandu- 6’9 strong big man with little to no body fat, formerly played at Seton Hall, could be all conference Summit player
Allen- off the bench, great defensive player and good assist man Martin- first shooter off the bench, rarely turns the ball over Lots of freshman fighting for the remaining minutes! Should be a fun season watching the young players improve!

Ngandu- 6’9 strong big man with little to no body fat, formerly played at Seton Hall... He didn't actually play at Seton Hall, did he?

No. He redshirted there. He was recruited and offered by K- State, Boise State, and Seton Hall.

Maybe an imperfect comparison...
Darrell Brodie (now 6-10, 275) also started out at Seton Hall (13 games in two seasons), before transferring to Drake. He became a serviceable starter for the Bulldogs. Under 6 ppg and 5 rpg last season, but had some hot games. Ok...warm games. He was mostly in the lineup as a defensive presence.
