Three of the big 4 players were on and the bench also played well! Gilyard went for 23 points and shot 4-7 from 3 point line! Nesbitt went for 19 points and 10 rebounds! Lamar had 18 points. The bench was led by the 2 freshman Barnes goes for 9 and Chapman for 7 points. The freshman will be big time players in the Summit by their junior years! The Roos were 9-16 from 3 point line 🔥🔥🔥. Kopp had no points so I predict him to bounce back Saturday night. Good win guys!👏

#5 killed us the whole game since we stayed on the 3pt shooters and did not help... They put Jack Chapman on him in final minutes and he SHUT HIM DOWN. He mixed it up,front, behind, 3 quarters... Awesome job young man... you won that game as much as anyone.

Nice win tonight! Coach Donlon’s 150th win. We are fortunate to have him here in KC!
Barnes and Chapman played very well. As 28 mentioned, Chapman’s defense was big at the end of the game. I was very impressed with how he shut down #5! They are going to be a big part of this program in the future!

Big game Saturday night with Western Illinois coming off a road win at ORU. The Roos will have to force turnovers and rebound well to neutralize WIU size advantage. WIU usually has to 6’9 guys inside at a time. Hopefully Gilyard and Boser keep hitting threes and defense gets 15 + turnovers. I am happy to be 7-4 in the Summit without having Josiah.
