It looked like we were going to continue our slump and pick up another loss at the hands of the Bison until we made a heckuva comeback in the second half. Great performance by Arkel and co.!

An amazing comeback, and a fun game to watch. Very impressed with the 3 seniors, and the improvement offensively.
Gilyard thrives on pressure! I bet he loved being at the line at the end of the game!

I was happy that Gilyard sat in the second half.... we brought him here to lead this team... he needed to do it... instead of watching Marvin and Arkel work their asses off in the paint.. Move the ball get to the shooters... command the game. After sitting... and seeing the team do better without him, he was ready to man up.... Timothy Barnes played with no fear and sparked a run. I think somewhere in the second half the team stopped crying in their chocolate breast milk and truly chose to Man up... Hopefully this is a turning point. We have a small team right now.. quit crying about it and go win games... we will be fine.. As for players.... as Marty Schottenhiemer used to say... the best ability is..... AVAILABILITY.

The great comeback started when Roos were down 57-43 with 13:08 left in the game. The following players scored during the 21 point run: Lamar 4, Nesbitt 5, Barnes 2, Allen 3, Gilyard 2, Kopp 3, Johnson 2. That is amazing that 7 different players scored during the run and how good the defense was getting stops and taking charges. Two biggest shots Barnes dunk got the team fired up and the Kopp 3 pointer to finally take the lead after being down most of the game! Martin taking the charge was huge!
