I hear coaches talk.... high expectations, loaded, excited... blah, blah... never ever heard that... always trying to cover their ass or in Billy's case.. "we might be OK if I turn this rabble into something with my great coaching..." But, what about the pressure of expectations...we need to get to a place of expecting to win and then actually winning..... repeat.

We know that to win in tournaments, you must have elite PG play... it has been a thorn in our side since Marv arrived... no real coach on the floor.. KC improved so much... but we saw, that when the pressure was on.. he reverted to hero ball.. we need a PG to play champion ball... the coaches are saying we welcome 2 All America point guards this year... that could make our shooters... but more noticably, our bigs better... we never got them the ball at the right time... that could change us several points for the better.

We have not had the horses to run the past couple years... everyone says that they wanna run but cant really do it... or press.. a press could have. 1.Davontae 2. Gob 3. BaBa 4. JP 5. Ijeh
Long arms, tough defenders and shot blockers... imagine if behind, go small with that team and the "94 feet of hell" approach.. we may have that now.

Evan Gilyard was such a great point guard. He really made the team go , and everyone better.
Hard to find another like him, but we will have a much better roster than Evan had to work with. Our new PG’s have a chance to make a big impact. Sounds like they have character, and will embrace the challenge!
