I see a report that Zeke Mayo is planning to enter the transfer portal and make himself eligible for the NBA draft. If so, that would mean the entire First Team Summit (minus 1 key guy so far) will be gone next year.

Keeping Brown should be priority #1 and priority #2 if the Roos want a shot to win the Summit League and make their first NCAA tournament! The Jacks are losing some serious talent time to keep the Phoenix Big 3 together and make an all in run in the league! Time will tell if the core roster can stay together for one more year.

Thanks roos34 for the research! St. Thomas and Roos look to be in the best shape at the moment with Summit leagues best players graduating and transferring to other teams. The majority of the players on your list will go to bigger schools with NIL programs. Sad reality in college basketball. The decision for the Roos to recruit and sign Juco players seems like a smart move at the moment by the coaches!

Bummer about Mukeba. I thought he could be an All-Conference player. We seemed to be a better team with him on the court, but his playing time was so limited. I am not sure what was broken there. His strength, power, and athleticism will be missed! Given more playing time, i think he could put up great numbers somewhere else.

As for us, this should give more opportunities to Melvyn, Yulian, Ngandu, and Josh Ijeh.

Mukeba had difficulty staying on the floor because of fouls and his lack of conditioning. It took him half a season to start playing good basketball. He missed a good opportunity to stay in KC last summer and work on his overall improvement. He returned he same or slightly better player. He had the physical ability but not the mental toughness to dominate the Summit League teams. IMO.
